Manuel Stagars is the founder of Story-Driven Science. He is a former senior researcher at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH), published scientific author (Springer Nature, Wiley, Palgrave Macmillan, Emerald), serial startup founder, award-winning film music composer, and award-winning film director.
Manuel has a natural grasp of complex subject matter. He holds a degree in economics from the London School of Economics (LSE), the CFA and the CAIA designations, and he is also an Energy Risk Professional (ERP). His documentary films about fintech, blockchain technology, and deep tech have won numerous international prizes and have screened all around the world. He has guest lectured about scientific storytelling at universities in Switzerland, Singapore, Japan, China, and Harvard University in the United States.
By founding Story-Driven Science, Manuel pursues his vision to make fascinating and complex topics in science accessible to wide audiences. His team works with global production companies, distribution platforms, and academic institutions to make the biggest possible impact for clients and their innovations.
